Packing in an M1 processor, it’s essentially the iPad Air in a smaller package. The iPad Mini had been left unloved by Apple for several years, but a 2021 update has made it a serious contender. It’s a good compromise for those that need a bit more muscle but don’t have the budget for Apple’s Pro range. It doesn’t quite rival the firepower of the Pro series, though. The iPad Air offers a bit more than the entry-level model, with the M1 processor makes it pretty powerful with a higher price tag and a slim body.
